    Mark Your Calendars!

    Dates for back to school orientations have been set! Seventh and eighth grade students should pick up their schedules August 9 in the front office from 9-3.

    An orientation for sixth grade students and parents will be held Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. in the gym. In addition to picking up schedules, students may pay the following fees:


    • ID $4
    • PE uniform $15
    • MacBook insurance $50 (or a $20 down payment)


    • PTSO membership $5
    • Yearbook $20
    • School supply bundle $15 (supplies are not optional, but purchasing them from the school is.) 

    All students return to school Aug. 20. School is from 7:50 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Students are marked tardy after 7:50. Doors open each morning at 7:15 a.m.

    School Supply list 2018-2019

    School supply bundles can be purchaed for $15 at registration. Of course, you may also purchase the items on your own.

    Certain electives also require additional supplies.

    Students should come prepared to school with supplies EVERY DAY ready to learn. The 3-ring binder is an essential part of our AVID method of organization and necessary for student success at Carver.

    Register Your Student

    Current students and rising 6th graders should use your INFOSNAP information in order to enroll your student for the 2018-2019 school year. If you do not have your SNAP code, you may come to the school to get a copy.

    Students who will be new to District 7 in 2018-2019, will need to be registered at Carver beginning the last week of July. Parents may come by school anytime Monday-Thursday-8-4 pm to register your student. 

    Needed for registration:

    • Student's birth certificate
    • Student's proof of immunization
    • Proof of residency (tax bill or lease agreement)
    • Landline bill such as cable, water, or power bill

  • Girl getting vaccinated

    Proof of TDAP vaccination for rising 7th graders required

    All students must show documentation confirming TDAP vaccines prior to entering 7th grade. You can schedule an appointment with the Health Department (864) 596-3337 or with your pediatrician.  Records may be brought to the front office.
