Each week during the month of February, the SHS Black History Club will host different activities each week.  Author, Cynthia Reid Wills will be on campus on February 11, 2020.  On February 19, 2020, we will have a private showing of the documentary “The Other Boys of Summer”. The documentary takes a look at racism, segregation, and civil rights in America told through the lives of the Negro League baseball players. Following the screenings, there will be a panel discussion with several former Negro League players. Also, we will have a  number of speakers coming in each week for a lunch and learn in the Media Center.  View highlights of each speaker in the SHS News section of our website starting Sunday, February 2, 2020.
