I am Ella Williams and I am from Greenville, SC where I was born and raised and still reside. I have been in education for 23 yrs. and with District 7 for 6 yrs.  I recieved my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Benedict College and my Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Education from Converse College.  I began my career in education with SHARE Head Start in Greenville County where I was a classroom teacher, classroom teacher/center manager and a Quality Control Specialist.  In August of 2013 I began my journey with Spartanburg District 7 at The Early Learning Center as a 3K teacher and 4K teacher.  In August 2017 I joined Mary H. Wright as a 2nd grade teacher and this school year I changed grade levels returning to kindergarten.  I was married to the love of my life for 12 yrs until he transitioned unexpectedly in 2015, we have two beautiful children, Ahmad, who is a Junior and attends Woodmont High School in Greenville County and Aniya who is in the 6th grade at Woodmont Middle School also in Greenville County.  I enjoy spending time with my family, completing word search puzzles, bowling, community outreach projects with my sorority, watching football (Go Panthers) and watching basketball, especially one outstanding basketball player, my son Ahmad.  I am so excited about working with my kindergarten babies this year and watching their growth over the course of this school year.  To some this may just be a job, but to me teaching is my career and passion.
