**All morning registrations at each of our class locations across the county begin at 8:30 a.m.. New students that arrive after 8:45 a.m. will be asked to return on the next registration day.**

**All Spartanburg County Adult Education locations conduct an orientation that is required for students to begin class. Students will not be able to begin class until after the orientation process has been completed.**

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 17 years of age or older
  • 17 year olds who have been released from a Spartanburg County high school may be admitted with a signed release from the school district where they reside.

  • 17 year-old students transferring from a high school outside of Spartanburg County should call 864-594-4428 for more information.
• Students must currently work or reside in Spartanburg County

Enrollment Policy

• Individuals may enter classes any time after completing an intake and orientation process.
• Students 21 and under who received special education services while enrolled in school must have an IEP meeting upon enrollment and prior to beginning classes to determine if adult education is an appropriate educational placement. Contact the local adult education program for more information.

What to Bring to Enrollment

• Nonrefundable Registration fee $20.00* (Cash or Money Order only)
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Release from high school of residence (17 year olds only)
• Verification of Withdrawal (17 & 18 year olds)

*Diploma courses require additional fees which are due prior to beginning a course. Call for more information.
