Band students participate in assemblies, winter and spring concerts, and the state concert festival. Other opportunities include region band, all-state band, solo and ensemble festival, and private lessons.

 Recently, our band has brought home the following awards and recognitions:

• A superior rating at the South Carolina Band Director Association Concert Performance Assessment
• Superior and Excellent ratings at Solo and Ensemble Festival
