The DMES Student Council offers our students an important opportunity to lead. Every fall, each class will elect a classroom representative. 4^th and 5^th grade students may run for schoolwide office.

The DMES Student Council has the opportunity to advise on a variety of topics, serve as DMES ambassadors, and participate in service opportunities such as our canned food drive and recycling program.

In our inaugural year, DMES’s first elected Student Council will have a rare opportunity: drafting the school’s first “constitution” that describes how our student government will operate.
