Message from the Principal

Mr. Randy Edwards is the new principal of Carver Middle School. He succeeded Mrs. Nicole Thompson, who had been principal since 2014. For the past four years, Mr. Edwards was the assistant principal at Carver, where his passion for strengthening the school culture is evident in his leadership.

I am incredibly excited and grateful to begin this role as principal of Carver Middle School. As a product of District 7 and Carver Middle School, I consider my time as a Carver student to be one of the pivotal moments in my life. Carver students, teachers, parents, and the Southside community are of the utmost importance to me. I have big dreams for Carver and every student who walks our halls. I look forward to building trusting relationships with all stakeholders – as our relationships grow, so will the achievements of Carver Middle School.
