Hi!

I am so excited to be one of the art teachers at Drayton Mills Elementary!  I have been teaching art for 21 years but this is my 12th year in Spartanburg District 7.  Prior to Drayton Mills Elementary, I was the art teacher at Houston Elementary.  I also teach at Pine St Elementary for part of the week.  I received my B.A. in Art Education from Limestone College in 1996.  I finished my M.Ed. in Art Education from Converse College in 2014.  I absolutely love teaching Art to elementary students.  They are so creative and spontaneous!  I personally enjoy oil painting and sometimes enter my own work into local art shows.  I also enjoy reading and going to the movies with my family which includes my daughter, Kara and my husband, Chuck.  Again, I am so excited to be one of the art teachers at the fabulous Drayton Mills Elementary and look forward to a wonderful year of making art!
