Hello! My name is David Burnett and I am very proud to be a Social Studies teacher at McCracken Middle School! I am a graduate from Furman University with a degree in History and a Masters of Liberal Arts with a specialization in History from Converse College. I am happily married to my wife Sarah and have two fur-babies, a dog named Odin and a ferret named Nugget. I am a huge history nerd, as well as an avid reader, writer, gamer and movie enthusiast, I'm a big fan of Star Wars and the Lord of the Rings! I hope to inspire students not only to value the history of our world, but also to recognize the power of story-telling and the impact that we may have on the future generations. I look forward to a great school year!
