Ms. Denise Arthurs

I am a micro preemie.  I was born at 24 weeks and weighed 2 lbs 9 oz and lost to 1 lb 15 oz.  When I was 4 years old we moved to the island of Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles.  I had all of my schooling in the Dutch language.  When I was 12 years old we moved to Guam where I graduated from high school.  I also lived on the island of Sri Lanka when I was 16 years old.  

I always wanted to be a teacher.  I am certified in Elementary Education and Music Education.  I have taught 2nd, 4th, 6th grade ELA and Music.  I love teaching Music.

I have an Australian Cattle Dog and we compete in AKC Rally and Obedience.  We are also a Pet Therapy Team with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.  We go to nursing homes, hospitals and schools to bring cheer to everyone.
