¡Hola y bienvenido a mi página! (Hi and welcome to my page!)

My name is Katherine Gwinn and I currently teach 6th grade Spanish and 8th grade Advanced Spanish 1. My educational background includes a B.A. in K-12 Spanish Education from USC Upstate and an M.Ed in Education Administration from the University of South Carolina Columbia. I began my teaching career in Fall 2013 but McCracken has been my chosen home since Fall 2016. Prior to teaching at McCracken, I have taught every grade from K-12, with the exception of 7th grade. 

I recently got married in May 2020 and have a step-daughter named Caroline. We also own three sweet kitty cats. My hobbies include cuddling my furbabies, shopping, and exercising! In addition to teaching Spanish, I also have a huge passion for music. I love playing my flute and singing karaoke when I have the opportunity. 

I look forward to another great year at McCracken Middle!
