Ms. Valarie Wilkerson

Hello!  My name is Valarie Wilkerson, and I'm thrilled to say this is my 41st year teaching and my 9th year teaching at Carver Middle School.  I currently teach 6th-8th grade Special Needs.  I was so proud to represent Carver Middle School as their Teacher Of The Year for the 2019-20 school year.  

I received a Masters of Science in Special Education from Auburn University, a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education from Troy University and an Autism Sequence Certificate from Converse College. My certifications include Elementary Education grades 3-9 and Special Education ages 3 through 21.  

I moved to Spartanburg to be near my family, especially my two grandsons, who are 6 and 8 years old.
