See How We eLearn

  • See How We Learn These examples of creative learning, staying connected, and finding new ways to bring smiles to one another while we are apart are truly heartwarming. Our mission to inspire and equip has never been more evident than it is at this very moment. Please continue to share your photos and videos with us so we can add to this page!

Zooming with Ron Clark

How phenomenal is this – a rare chance for students to get some one-on-one time with a revered leader in education. Yes, indeed! Ron Clark just showed up as a surprise guest on a Zoom session this morning to Angela Eaton’s Teacher Cadet class from Spartanburg High School. But it gets better! Mr. Clark offered all educators in D7 an opportunity to take part in a Zoom PD session this afternoon.

Melody Nease from Jesse Boyd said she loved Ron Clark’s energy, ideas and tips to help teachers help students succeed during distance learning.
This speaks volumes to the fact that learning and growth – both at the student level and at the teacher level - does not stop just because our buildings are closed!
To inspire and equip - two words taken from our mission statement that still succinctly capture the spirit of our District’s commitment to our young people.
