Greetings! My name is James H. Long and I teach third grade here at Mary H. Wright! I have my Master of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University. Go Eagles! I have many years of teaching under my belt teaching first and third grades. I am married to Tonya Long who is also a teacher. I am a huge Gamecock fan! Go Gamecocks! I am also a published author. I wrote, Making Her Mark: A Study of Eleanor Roosevelt and The First Ladies of South Carolina. In my free time I enjoy reading history books, spending time with my family and going to the beach!
