A Message from Ms. Peach

  • picture of school principal Welcome to McCracken Middle School, home of the Eagles. McCracken has a long history of providing a world class education to our students. We have a dynamic staff of teachers committed to excellence in education. I am so proud to call McCracken Middle School my home and I consider it an honor to serve as Principal.

    We were designated as a National School to Watch in 2013-2014 and also redesignated during the 2017-2018 school year.  Our students, teachers, families, and community have all worked as a team to create a nurturing environment, contribute tremendous creative energy, develop academic innovation, provide engaging learning experiences, dynamic leadership opportunities, extra curricular activies, world class athletic and related arts programs which are all steeped in research based best practices and led to these designations. We are so grateful to our Board of Trustees and our district level administration ensuring that we are able to provide these opportunities for our students.  


    We are most fortunate to have a phenomenal PTSO, SIC, and Parent Volunteer Committees. As a team, we accomplish so much more and this is evident each day in our hallways, cafeteria, and classrooms. Parent involvement in a child’s education is the cornerstone for success, and we are so fortunate that this is a longstanding part of our culture.


    Each child provides a thread in our rich tapestry of excellence.  We encourage your child to honor the traditions of our school, and to make contributions each day that add to our history of excellence in education. Please let us know how we can work with you and your child through our guidance programs, academic programs, arts, and athletics programs to provide the support needed to make good choices and to enhance their education. We are committed to providing an environment that fosters a positive and productive learning environment for each child.
