Student Council
-
The McCracken Student Council is made up of a president, two vice-presidents, one secretary, a historian, a publicity chairman, senators from each of the three grades, and representatives from each SOAR class. The council officers and the senators make up the Cabinet (the planning group for the Council).
The purpose of the Student Council is to promote good citizenship, provide a voice for student ideas and concerns, and to promote school spirit and to sponsor activities and service projects for the entire school to enjoy. Some of their projects include pre-school Orientation, The Back-To-School Dance, projects for needy children, spirit week, and many other special events. Our dynamic student council works very hard to make McCracken a special place to learn.
Student Council members must maintain an average of C or better with no Fs and acceptable behavior with no suspensions.Sponsors: David Burnett and Scott Anderson
