Spartanburg County, the 4th-largest in South Carolina, is home to more than 301,000 people and 13 unique municipalities.

OneSpartanburg is the culmination of a nine-month, six-phase research and strategic planning process aimed at identifying how to raise levels of prosperity and improve quality of life for all Spartanburg County residents.
The final product is an action-oriented five-year community and economic development plan to be implemented through OneSpartanburg and its strategic community partners.

It’s easy to enjoy the outdoor life in Spartanburg. Bring your kayak and hiking boots to explore our blueways and greenways, or grab your bike and trek miles of roads and trails. Croft State Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail are just a few of the many parks and trails found in the area. Designated a Bicycle Friendly Community, Spartanburg is home to several B-Cycle stations with rentable bikes - making it easy to hit the ground rolling!
