Keeping Students Safe during COVID
Thank you for your continued efforts to help us mitigate the spread of COVID-19. There is a concern regarding the high numbers of COVID cases in our community, and although we are not seeing an increase in our schools, it is important more than ever to follow the protocols that are set in place by our district for our students so that we won’t experience any issues.
As a reminder, if your child is asked to quarantine, they are not allowed to attend a school or any function on school grounds (including athletic events). According to CDC guidelines, they should stay at home. Also, please do not send your child to school when they are sick. This is not the time to try to push through.
If your family becomes affected by COVID, we ask that you call the school and speak with our nurse, Cindy Quillen at 864-596-8434.
I know this is a very difficult time for families, however, we need to stay vigilant so that we can keep students and staff as safe as possible. We are grateful for your cooperation and support.
In order to keep COVID 19 from spreading in our schools, District 7 is asking for parents' help in monitoring student health and contact. This year will be different, but we will move forward together.
