Orientation Dates & To Do's Before School Starts

Parent Reminders: To Do BEFORE the Start of School

All parents who complete these items by July 27 may use the express lanes at orientation! Avoid the lines and long waits by getting these items completed BEFORE orientation (the sooner, the better):

  • ALL PARENTS: Bring or mail to us your current proof of residence, which is required each year in order to attend school.  Submit two current documents (all must contain the property address) in the name of the parent or legal guardian. This must include ONE of the following: A recent tax document for primary residence, current signed rental/lease agreement with legally notarized documentation from landlord verifying current address, AND ONE current utility bill (i.e. electric, gas, water, cable).
  • ALL PARENTS: Complete your student’s enrollment for 2022-2023 online here ASAP! If you have misplaced your student's SnapCode letter that was sent home in early May, please call the school at 864-594-4457 to receive your SnapCode.  

  • RISING 7th GRADE PARENTS: Bring or mail to us an updated vaccination record that includes your student’s Tdap Booster.This vaccination is required for attending school in 7th Rising 6th Grade parents may also submit vaccination records now if your student has already received the Tdap Booster.  

Student/Parent Orientations for the 2022-2023 school year will be held:

  • 6th Grade Orientation ­– Wednesday, August 3 at 5:30 in the gym
  • 7th Grade Orientation – Thursday, August 4 at 1 PM in the gym
  • 8th Grade Orientation – Thursday, August 4 at 3 PM in the gym

You must come at your assigned time.  We will not have schedules for other grade levels available at different times.  

McCracken Middle School Hours for June and July:

Monday – Thursday from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM
