Spartanburg County Library Headquarters Exhibiting SHS History

Spartanburg  High  School  has been preparing students for the future since 1896 when ten students accepted the first high school diplomas awarded by  a public school in the city of Spartanburg. This exhibit reviews some of the defining moments in this institution's long history and examines how they came together to build up one of the nation's leading high schools.  The  Looking Back on S.H.S.  exhibit is now on display at the Headquarters Library through January  12,  2020.
