Eighth grade students have the opportunity to participate in the South Carolina Junior Scholars Identification and Development Program.
The PSAT/NMSQT test will be administered during the school day on October 7th, 2025 to all 8th grade students.
South Carolina’s Junior Scholars are selected based on the student’s PSAT/NMSQT score. Specifically, a student who scores 550 or higher on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing portion or scores 530 or higher on the Mathematics portion of the PSAT/NMSQT will qualify.
