KINGZ:

Our boys mentoring program is called Kingz. Boys are recommended by their homeroom teachers and partnered with an adult mentor. Boys commit to certain behavior and participation codes. To volunteer as a boy's mentor contact Randy Edwards

Our library partners with the Spartanburg County Public Library with monthly visits from the teen librarians. We also collaborate on our Summer Reading Programs. Hub City Bookshop also provides free books on occasion to build our students' home libraries and recently sent YA author Ryan Graudin to Carver. We also host an annual "Free Book Fair" to provide each Carver student with summer reading material. To donate books to this initiative, contact Mrs. Roper, Media Specialist.

Carver partners annual with Junior Achievement to provide financial literacy with "JA in a Day."
