We could not be more excited to announce that Mrs. Tyann Jackson, our behavior intervention assistant, has been selected as our Support Staff of the Year. Mrs. Jackson sees the good in all children and works diligently to find solutions to hard situations. She handles situation with both kindness and firmness. Additionally, she loves to make things beautiful. It is not uncommon to find something decorated in different places in the building. She always has a radiant smile and brings joy to our building!

Testing begins next week. Here is a note from Mr. Landon about testing and preparation:
3 months ago, E.P. Todd School
Dear Parents, As we approach the testing season, we want to ensure that our students are well-prepared for the upcoming South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Assessment (SC READY) program. This statewide assessment is crucial for measuring the South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Standards taught in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science classes. What is SCREADY? The SC READY program assesses students in grades 3–8 in ELA and Mathematics, and in grades 4 and 6 for Science. These tests are designed to evaluate the knowledge and skills that students have acquired throughout the year, based on the standards set by the South Carolina Department of Education (S C D E). You can find these standards on the S C D E website: S C D E Standards. Test Day Tips Ensure your child gets a good night's sleep before the test. Provide a nutritious breakfast on the day of the test. Remind your child to stay calm and focused during the test. Offer praise and encouragement to boost your child's confidence and reduce test anxiety. We believe that with your support, our students will be well-prepared to succeed in the SC READY assessments. Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to your child's education. Sincerely, Brian Landon School Testing Coordinator EP Todd School
