Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are a cricical part of Cleveland's mission and there are several ways to get involved!

Become A Kindergarten Tutor
Volunteer tutors are paired with one to three Kindergarten students to work with them on basic letter identification, letter sounds, sight words, and provide them with one on one read aloud opportunities. Teachers provide the activities for the volunteer to lead. Tutoring takes place in the morning and we ask that volunteers committ to a regularly scheduled hour, once a week.

Become A Cleveland Champ (Lunch Mentor)
Our Cleveland Champs are mentors who come once a week to eat lunch with their mentee. They encourage, listen, guide, and empower their mentee to achieve their best both academically and socially.

Help With Special Days
Special days at Cleveland help to bring learning to life for our students. These days expose them to experiences that grow them as individuals. Whether is be the Spring Musical, Field Day, College Colors Day, the 5K Race, Polar Express Day, and many others, we always need extra hands to help make these special days extraodianry and memorable for our students.

Our volunteers love and know our students and help in their journey to success.
