We are excited to share that the third episode of Viking News TV (VNT) is out today! This episode runs under 15 minutes, and our journalism students, under the direction of Ms. Rennie, worked incredibly hard throughout October and November to bring together meaningful stories, school highlights, and important upcoming events!
A Message from the VNT Team: The Heart Behind Episode 3
This episode was more than just another set of segments—it was a lesson in perseverance. Over the past few weeks, many of our students, and even staff, were carrying heavy emotional loads. Not everyone felt their best, and several students faced genuine hardships.
In the VNT family—guided and supported by Ms. Rennie—students disagree, learn, cry, laugh, and lift each other up. This episode is a product of that honesty and vulnerability. Despite the obstacles, the team continued to push forward, showing resilience, teamwork, and heart.
We are incredibly proud of their willingness to show up for one another and for our school community. Their dedication is a powerful reminder that students thrive when they feel supported, encouraged, and believed in. They are our future—thank you for continuing to uplift them.

A Note of Appreciation
VNT is a larger team this year, with many new faces joining the program. About 85% of the production is student-run, from planning and interviewing to filming, editing, and graphics. Under Ms. Rennie’s leadership, students are learning, experimenting, and growing with every episode.
