The first day of school is almost here! Students and families are encouraged to review the important information below to help ensure a smooth start to the 2026–2027 school year.
Schedule Information
Students who have not yet picked up their schedules will have the opportunity to do so during Viking Voyage, where they can also walk through their schedules and become familiar with the building before the first day of school.
On Thursday, all students should report directly to their first-period class. Students who do not have a schedule will find posters throughout the school listing their name, first-period teacher, and classroom location. First-period teachers will provide students with an updated schedule, which may differ from the schedule received during schedule pickup.
Students with scheduling errors or concerns may submit a schedule change request through Friday, August 14. Forms are available in the Guidance Office.
Dual Enrollment Information
Dual enrollment classes will begin on Monday, August 17. Until classes begin, students enrolled in dual enrollment courses should report to their assigned Spartanburg High School classroom.
All students enrolled in a dual enrollment course must attend one mandatory

During the first week of school, students will participate in grade-level class meetings and receive MacBooks according to the schedule below.

8:57 a.m. — G–L
9:45 a.m. — M–R
10:32 a.m. — S–Z
