The result of our referendum vote is 73% YES – Thank you, Spartanburg!

On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, our Spartanburg community approved the construction of a NEW Jesse Boyd Elementary and an addition to Mary H. Wright Elementary, which will house childcare for District 7 teachers and staff and expand our need-based, public 3K program.

Investing in these developments will not only enhance our educational facilities and our students’ learning experience, it will also help fill a critical need for lower-cost childcare to ensure education remains a viable and rewarding career for teachers and staff.
